Sushi Chef looking for a job - where can I find?

Post by knken » Wed Mar 11, 2009 1:25 am

I am professionally trained sushi chef, looking for a work in Helsinki or around. I can speak English fluently, but not Finnish.
I tried to search on internet about informaitons, but I could not find anything. Can anyone tell me where I can find restaurant work informations in Finland?

You could just google "japanilainen ravintola" (=japanese restaurant) and you'll get plenty of results. I'm not sure but I guess Yume is considered as the classiest japanese/sushi restaurant in Helsinki.

I am able to find one resturant. However, they require kitchen worker in this position. Finnish or Japanese language is a requirement.

If you're good (and Helsinki is in dire need of some decent sushi, so pleeeeease be good and know how to source your fish) you can find a job in my kitchen. I will pay you in compliments such as "Yum!" and "Delicious!".

Did you try Tokyo55, over on Runeberginkatu ?
I've been there multiple times, and the sushi was always excellent... Even the price is good.
