Baby Milk Question - 9Months Old.. Nan v Tutteli Milk Powder

I have few questions about formula milk... At the moment we are giving Breast Milk + Nan2 Liquid Milk to our 9 months old.

But we want to change Liquid milk to milk powder as we plan to go for quite long holiday to my country and it's hard to find

liquid milk there or take huge amount of milk packs with us.

So we thought about giving Nan2 milk powder. But it's hard to find Nan2 here, they only have Nan1.

As far as I know Nan1 is from birth, Nan2 from 4 months, Nan3 from 10 months.

Nan2 & 3 are available in online shopping sites, but still I couldn't find in supermarkets here.

But there are Tutteli 1(0-6) & 2(6-12). Can anyone please share any info regarding this.

i saw nan2 liquid formula yesterday in K supermarket Lauttasaari.

You can always give nan1 milk powder in case you are not able to get nan2 on time!!
Also, look for "Velli" powders...as you can always water down the Velli!!

You can give "from birth" formula safely to to your baby for as long as she needs formula, up to one year old, after which time she can have normal milk. The difference between starter and follow on formulas are very small and totally insignificant. Most brands have only brought "follow-on" milk to market couple of years ago.

I think we're going for Nan1 milk powder rather than going for Tutteli 2

as he is used drink Nan1 liquid formula...

My son had a few bottles of Nan1. When I started weaning him off the breast I wanted to switch to Nan2 but as I could only find the ready-made formula I switched to Tuteli 2. No problems whatsoever I think Tuteli is slightly cheaper as well, always a bonus! lol
