How to buy Finnish movies in the US?

Post by paha_noita » Sun Apr 19, 2009 5:25 pm

Does anyone have any suggestions for buying movies in Finnish in the US? All websites I have found either ship within Finland only or Finland and the rest of Europe only.

I love the Finnish dubs of Disney movies and I have a couple that I downloaded, but I'd like to purchase the ones that aren't available for download.

Vau kiitos! :)
They don't carry any of the movies I want but I e-mailed their customer support and inquired about that. It's better than nothing, ha. Now I just need to work on making my player region free.

Okay, this is one of the sites that Google led me to and I was not able to figure out how to use it.

I apparently am required to register an account before I can purchase anything. Here's the register page:
https://cdon.fi/customer/register?ref=order
First off, should I assume that because I cannot set my country to any country besides Finland that they do not ship outside of Finland?
Secondly,
katuosoite - home address
postinumero - post number (equivalent to US zip code?)
paikkakunta - ??? mikähän tää on?

That's easy. Just Google it to find the unlock code. It's usually really easy (and very useful since I've lived in different regions and collected various DVDs).

Sigh... it *is* difficult. If anyone has Leijonakuningas and/or Tuhkimo and/or Prinsessa Ruusunen DVD's for sale? Darn Disney issue rotation.
