Cookery / Cake Courses in Oulu ? Anybody knows ?

My wife love to cook (of course i love to eat

) and she wants to have some formal education about cooking.

Is there any cooking courses or cake classes in Oulu ?

I searched about them, but couldn't find any

By "formal education" do you mean something that leads to a profession?

Hi, I mean that a formal course kind of thing.

Because we found some free time cooking clubs where ladies get together and cook different dishes.

Usually the "formal" (meaning there is a professional teacher) are arranged by local kansalaisopisto/työväenopisto. But I just checked Oulu kansalaisopisto pages, and it is summer season, and it seems that most courses are arts and music, no cookery The fall season doesn´t start till September. The new program comes out in August, and if your wife is interested in something they have to offer, she should book in August right after the new program comes out. Those courses are popular at least here in Espoo.

The latest one I participated was just a couple of weeks ago: Medieval Cooking. Interesting, and very a good bread recipe I got, too.

Great, I like to have "theme months" or "theme weeks". Now I can try a Srilankan week. Last week was a Vietnamese week.
