How to Finnish Traditional medicine

Hi all ,
I have heard that there is a traditional medicine ( a Finn ) that consist of getting from the back of your body old black blood in other words to clean your blood .
have you got any idea from where ? any one had done it already ?

I don´t think that is just "Finnish". That is something that was done just about everywhere in medieval times. But there is something Finnish, and that is called "jäsenkorjaus" (fixing of limbs). You can search the former one with "kuppaus" or "kuppausta".
