I don't believe Mr. Nibble will ever have a website. I was in the store a lot, as their prices were so much more reasonable compared to Behnford's or (even more outrageous) Kamppi K store.

Ever since Mr. Nibble closed, the website has pretty much just been parked, it doesn't exist & probably never will. Furthermore, after reading this thread again, I kind of doubt that a website was really ever even planned.

Behnford's had an agreement, that came to an end, with Storm Trading. Why it came to an end is anyone's guess, but I'd speculate that Behnford's told them to bugger off for whatever reason. That left Storm Trading with a warehouse (or shipping container or whatever) full of stock that would be going bad. I personally know that hundreds of euros of stock had to be thrown away because the shelf dates were passed. I'm betting Storm Trading opened the shop with the sole intention of dumping their existing stock and knew all along that it was a limited time run.

That doesn't change the fact that the store was nice to visit on occasion, and had the best prices on imported foods in Helsinki. Personally, I miss it, and have even dreamed about what it might take to start my own import store.

This last reply on the topic is like at 7 months ago but what the hell, I just found it while looking to see if Nibble's website ever got up & running.

Well....it doesnt suprise me. When you start to research and read up about the food industry and their connections, it's all dodgy.

i heard recently that one bloke from some meat company in Finland admitted that the E-number or chemicals used in the cr@ppy marinade on the chicken is mildly addictive...And what gets done? Jack all.

Personally I think the sh!t should be just banned. We'd have a healthier population, a more efficient health care service cos they wouldn't be spending sh!t loads of money sorting out fat b@stards with diabetes, heart problems etc etc, probably a more psychologically well balanced population. But nope, it isn't going to happen as people are making too much money.

But at the same time I believe in letting people kinda do what they want when it comes to personal health. and I don't want to live in a nanny state.

Aren't the 3 biggest killers all related to obesity, smoking and alcohol...smoking and alcohol is controlled - why not junk food? I see no difference.

This is a really old thread - Mr. Nibble went away half a year or more ago.
