It's so common place cheating that there should be some regulation for this
There are consumer laws. I have never thought that it is "cheating", meaning intentional. I think it is one of these two:
A) A person has not done his/her job and taken off yesterday´s offer signs.
B) A person has not done his/her job and fed new offer price to the computer.

People go to other countries not because of better living or etc, but also to open their mind themselves to different cultures. You should thank them some times instead of always chanting in the background "go back to your own country" because they give you insight as well. The only way a person will develop is from being Open-Minded. Mentioning of all these racial slurs won't get you anywhere, especially on a Forum that is to help the people in giving information about moving, living and life in Finland.
So finns are race? thank you. I also think that these racial slurs against finns arent good and finns have right to tell you to go home if you dont like the system

Re-read a little, notice when I said "people go to other countries......" <----That meant generalizing. I just mentioned at the ending about this "forum" because it does have writings that are conflicts people try to fight against to make it equal in this world. Many Finns aren't racist, they are actually very cultured, but it doesn't really show that well when you look at some of these post. Why is it that we always need to take one person that is from this "blah blah blah" country, and make it an example for all? Its great to have pride and be patriotic for the land you come from but at the same time, its just a land with a setup cultured, we didn't get to choose where we are born, we are all individuals in this world.
Yeah you do have the right to say things when a racial slur comes against your "nationality" but, to tell them to go home is a different story try to play in different ways.

Just to clarify: often in finnish supermarkets, there are products stamped with a 30% / 50% /whatever discount stamp, normally those whose due date is coming soon. The way it works, at least in my local Alepa, is that the cashier is supposed to manually push a few buttons to give you the discount (based on the stamp), there's no specific code entry in the database that automatically deducts 30%. I sometimes take those products and the only time the person forgot I asked for it and was promptly granted it. And yes, I check my bills.
I pretty much doubt that anyone would forget it in purpose, there's no real incentive for cheating; it's rather a lapse or the cashier being lazy or unexperienced.
Btw, has anyone been using the service?

Notice the Chinese flag in the corner of Miss Alice's posts. She has an interest in subjecting Western European people to the dogmas of multiculturalism. But there is no multiculturalism in her own country. Such people should be ruthlessly denounced. They are spongers trying to destroy the freedoms and cultures of the West. Miss Alice, I see you for what you are! 看透了。
I grew up in the western culture..... your judging before even knowing, but its ok, common for closed minded people like you

The Difference between what happens somewhere else in the world and here is that NO ONE CARES WHAT HAPPENS THERE and HOW IT IS DONE IN UTOPIA!!
If you are in FINLAND, then the responsibility is to the person buying things..
Just because, the system in other parts of the world helps the buyer lean towards stupidity does not mean that THAT system is followed here..

There should be some penalty for businesses who can't keep their systems uptodate and whose workers can't perform their duties efficiently.
It is non sense to put entire reposnibility on the buyers. Why should I waste my time every time to see if the cashier/store has made some mistake. It takes several minutes to check all prices in a list where there are some 50-60 items. And it is also not possible to remember prices of all things.
I think the penalty can be 2 times refund first time and every next time multiplied by 1 more time. So if a customer is suffering 5th time at the same store, refund should be 5 times of the amount which was calculated by mistake.
May be some people have time to sit and check their lists but many people are not so free.
It is not patriotism to defend even wrong things. Worng laws and rules must be debated in an attempt to improve them.
Some immigrants on this forum are working hard to show their patriotism for Finland. Hopefully their efforts to please the finns will not be wasted.

Well if you start, because you Finns are so weak with alcohol I have to drive a 10 till 20 km to get a decent bottle of wine from a store that charges me twice the price I pay in Western Europe. So I would call that stupid yes
And it is not being paid for as by the heavy users who get paid by Kela to get there in taxi

I have determined that you are in fact a moron. Noticing that one has not got the expected discount a couple of time might be a comment on a particular store's behaviour and management practice, but is not a slight on Finnish culture. Why do you post constant stupid posts?
And I would have thought that you as *more nationalists than Finns want to bees foreigners* would be close friends

India and China are not good examples of how to run supermarkets. Many of the products on the shelves in Wal-Mart in China are faulty.
I agree... and ur point was? I'm talking about his "discount justice" wanting......but I'll let you continue.... Don't worry that post for IQ lower then 90 is coming for you, I've just been busy....
