Help decide: Cable or ADSL Internet connection??

I am planning to change my Internet connection from ADSL to Cable and I would need some help

I have ADSL Internet connection with quite OK speed and I have noticed that with Cable connection, I can have more speed for around the same price of the ADSL connection. I can also have the 110mb at a considerable rate so I decided to make the switch from ADSL to cable but a friend told me to stay with ADSL because of the quality. He mentioned that he has been having Cable before and the quality was so bad.

So I would like to know from the members of this forum that have most especially cable connection. How would you compare the quality of your connection? What speed do you have at the moment? Can you recommend cable? Is your connection always on? What part of Suomi are you (you dont need to say your city if you dont wanna )? I would also like to know your ISP...

My building is rigged with Welho cable network.
I may get ADSL from say Sonera.

I am using 10M/1M package from Welho. It costs me 35,90€. The reason I took it is because I needed a connection ASAP when I moved here. Sonera was going to give me a connection in 2 - 4 weeks. Couldn't wait that long. For 10€ more, I can get 24M/1M ADSL from Sonera. Maybe I will get this once when my current contract will be expired.

I am satisfied with 10M/1M cable package but kinda miss fibre channel I had in Espoo

the flat that i will rent for 2 months has welho cabel connection. may i go and make contract with welho for 2 months internet? do they give cabel modem free? if not how much it costs?
