Hi,
I'm looking for some low vision aids for myself. Some "bausch and lomb" products like
these (
http://www.bausch.com/en_US/consumer/ge ... fiers.aspx) for example.
Of course I can perhaps order them from the states but I'd rather get them from Finland
as I don't want to deal with customs, vat and stuff.
So does anyone have any idea where to get them from (Or anything similar) if possible ?
Living in Helsinki of course
Cheers,
Looking for low vision aids!

You got gobbledygookitis, or cannot you write "magnifying glass"? Ubiquitous... I'd say ClaesOhlsson might have more than one type, but one of those fancy Instrumentariums would carry something for 10x the price. You could try off ebay.uk as well.

Naah, its a magnifying glass you pay 5 for and give it to the kids to scorch ants, if you give it to granny you pay 50.

I'm not looking for fancy magnifiers. I'm looking for something like the "Magna-Page® Magnifier 2x" so please spare me your sarcasm.
Thanks anyway.

Well they sell those in Biltema next to the reading glasses, so why do you call them with a fancy name?

I'm not calling them. I just don't know and that's why I'm asking
And because they are not. They are like a book page, you put it on top of the page directly and it increases the size.

Ah, but how can he find the magnifiers if he cannot see them (because he does not have his own), and cannot ask the assistant where they are (as he does not know what they are called)...
... a double vicious circle methinks

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine.
