I have lived in Finland 10 years and have yet to buy any from a Finnish shop. Buy a ticket to uk on ryanair or easyjet and stock up at Boots or Tesco.Bubba Elvis XIV wrote:Seriously now!?! Gillette razors...16.30 for a 5 pack!!!

I can't remember the name of the one I used to use, I think it was a Gillette, but couldn't even get the blades here when I moved in 2000, so had to switch to Gillette Mk3. And yeah, the prices here are high. Especially if you use the latest gizmo Excel Turbo Basturd MkVII Federer-Woods-Henri Gti edition.Bubba Elvis XIV wrote:Seriously now!?! I probably get through 2 or 3 x eight packs per year, and try to pick up a pack whenever back in the UK. This company does free delivery if you have a UK postal address http://www.gillette-replacement-blades.com/ .... I just registered, and placed an order for 5 x four packs (20 blades) for £15.95 + £7.50 for postage to Finland... works out at €5.40 per pack of four blades. Let's see how it goes.a Ned wrote:but you have to take into account the extra energy it takes to grow razorblades this far north etc. etc. (spouts bollocks as to why the shops charge so much).
