Sweden's TV4 will show Championship games on Saturdays next season. I think it's available as part of the Svensk package for about 10eur a month.

It might be worth paying the €10 just to watch Newcastle get relegated again.

That's not a bad considering that I was forking considerably more for Viasat's aborted coverage last season. Hopefully they'll include a highlights package too.

The SV4 site suggests that the channel has exclusive rights to the action. I guess that means that Championship matches are being dropped from Swedish viasat and probably across the nordic region as well, meaning that individual countries will have to pick up the rights to the action themselves.

I know we've discussed this before, but someone else has suggested on the FutisForum boards that Urheilukanava should purchase the rights to screen the competition in Finland. I suppose a clutch of former Prem clubs and the odd Finnish player (Enckelman at Cardiff, Kuqi at Palace) might persuade them.
