Rental Car in Espoo

Hi, I have moved to Espoo, Finland just a few months before. I wanted to know where can we rent car for weekends in Espoo. We have a 2yr old baby, Do they rent out the car seat as well? Need not say i am looking for most budget/economical car rental company.

If coming to Hki is not too much of an hassle Budget.fi (kamppi) and easyrent.fi (Kallio) are worth checking out.

Hertz often has special deals (e.g. weekend deals) if you have an S-kortti. I have used them a few times and been happy with it.

I rented few times from Scandia Rent.

Their price is cheaper and service is good and flexible.

If you intend to use the car more than just a couple of times, buying a car seat could be sensible (second hand, if you want to save money)

If you had the car seat yourself, AVIS prices for weekend start (=small car) from 99€ (if you go and get yourself Stockmann 'loyal customer' card first, in case you don't have one yet) (and depending how's the policy is right now, you might get a free rental after 4 or so paid ones)

Budget used to have even bit cheaper rates, but the availability seems to bit tricky now (possible because of the bankruptcy of the Finnish franchise holder)

if you intend to rent the car regularly, I've heard of something called helsinki city car. You pay a small rent/month and when you need a car, you pay for it only for what you use (km + petrol). You can pick the car from Espon Keskus i think. It is supposely cheaper than normal renting agencies.
