Hi
I am currently Unemployed in UK, planning to move to Finland soon, can I still claim Unemployment Benefit and a Housing Benefit while searching for a job in Finland. I have been in continous employment since May 2006, during this period I have paid all my contributions and taxes to UK Governtment.
Cheers

You can export your Jobseekers Allowance (JSA), for a maximum of 3 months, while you look for work in another EEA member state. You need the E303form. After the 3 months if you haven't found a job you need to go back to the UK to be able to claim any benefits. As far as Finnish authorities are concerned you're still an UK resident. Oh an you need the EU health card with you as well.
