Prefabricated fencing?

Post by Cod » Mon Jun 29, 2009 8:20 pm

Hi again,

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with buying prefabricated 1.6m high wooden horizontal slat fencing - if such a thing actually exists.

It's not rocket science to make but I'm guessing that its probably on the market in some form prefabricated since it's such a common look!

Thanks in advance.

I was just bying summer flowers today in the gardening place between Sello and Kehä I. So I wasn´t really looking for anything else. BUT there is a place that sells fountains for gardens and such right next to the plant place. They had ALE so I just took a peek. There was wooden fencing,

taa gents, I'll check all those places out.

We have a quote of 145euro per m to build it, but I think I can do better than that.

You could also try the Puukeskus places www.puukeskus.fi (IIRC the nearest one on your route is in Suomenoja, south of the Länsiväylä, keep going past Bauhaus). They definitely sell all the wood but I GUESS they sell the panels too. Otherwise Bauhaus unless you want the Plussa points in which case K-Rauta. And Starkki sometimes has good deals (there is one near Keha II next to the Ferrari garage which has a large outdoor area). I think even Prisma sells them (try the garden centre in Olari - not sure if the one in Kirkkonummi has a garden centre???) Worth comparing prices.
