Cheapest place for electronics, specifically TVs
Cheapest place for electronics, specifically TVs
Been looking around and trying to find the best place to get a deal on a new TV. Gigantti, onoff, etc. Just curious if anybody has had any success any any particular spot. Not particularly concerned with customer service, as I am quite knowledgeable on the subject, just looking for where the best deals can be had.
Thanks!
Mike

In ON/OFF you can barter with the price. Just got so much discount on a brand new TV, that we basically had a free Playstation 3 in the deal.

I think I read somewhere that Expert sells the most TV in Finland.
And don't forget Hobby Hall, they also do good bargains www.hobbyhall.fi

Hi! Have found the best deals on electronics at Citymarket in Jumbo, Vantaa. Pretty good service, too. If the price is the same as in Gigantti, remember that in Citymarket you always get Plussapiste -bonus using the Plussa-card.

Re: Cheapest place for electronics, specifically TVs
verkkokauppa do a big range now and i've had most of my tv's from there in the past.

Gigantti is pricevice good, if (or especially if) you buy their stuff (=models that you get only through them, regular models tend to have regular prices), also the 30 days grace period is nice. The other chains (expert, tekniset, mustapörssi) might have some models campaign prices but regular prices are... interesting, you might get deal out of them if you get to talk to right person and are buying right stuff. Kinda same with supermarkets (Prisma, Citymarket, Anttila): some models might be priced well, but you need to keep your eyes open, regular prices are not so nice and don't expect any deals from them. Verkkokauppa.com, hobby-hall and other webshops... check www.hintaseuranta.fi and choose cheapest, buy only stuff they have in stock, pay with credit card and you should be fine. Keep your eye on postage though, big screen might have big price tag on that too. If buying from Germany... ask around how returns have gone, I'm not sure that I had the nerves to buy such a large thing knowing that I might have to pay postage back in case of warranty replacement (see www.posti.fi for prices!).Mikie wrote:Not particularly concerned with customer service, as I am quite knowledgeable on the subject, just looking for where the best deals can be had.

another comparison is www.vertaa.fi
I am now on the lookout for a flat screen and a astianpesukone ( first preference to buy than a TV ).
Last time, I got a LG washing machine, I got a very good deal off a 22"Flat screen Monitor/TV ( Samsung) which is now our current TV for now..
I ll post later on TV if I find deals in Germany or ebay as I ve not started looking for it yet..
Generally I do a budget, then do a lot of research on what you can get for that budget and then go bargain hunting...
( e.g. Plasma vs LCD, Full HD vs HD ready, inputs, weight, power consumption etc etc )

Isnt that additional warranty tied to person who took it?hilda ruby wrote:We are selling the following, if interested (6months old):
