Exclusive shop/showroom for wall clocks

Hi,

Does anybody know if there are any showrooms/shops exclusively for wall clocks in Helsinki/espoo region. I have already checked out at stockmann, asko, kodin but am not getting the kind of wall clock I want.

I don't know about a shop that would sell only clocks, although there probably are such. Traditionally clocks and watches have been sold mostly by jeweler & clock shops. Google for "kellokauppa". But for something that special (it's really nice looking, btw), you probably need to look into some shop that is selling interior design stuff or something like that.

Anyhow, one way is to google for "seinäkello" and check the picture links. If you find a page that seems to sell something interesting, then check if they have this type, too. I found that way some places that sell wall clocks with only the big handles, like this one:

Not totally the same, but you could make it into something similar. Or why don't you just order that clock from your link, as they have an online shop?

I don't think you will find that in a clock shop. You are more likely to find it in a design shop. Try the stores in Helsinki Design District eg: www.designforum.fi (Erottajankatu), Taito shop, Artek, , Norsu, (there is a map available showing all the Design Stores). Alternatively spend a few hours walking round Fredrikinkatu, Annankatu, Kokeavuorenkatu (the museum also has a shop). IIRC there are a couple of stores on Freda (? Alessi etc I can't remember the names but I walk past them several times a week).
