How can I meet a psychologist?

Hi everybody,
My life´s getting so hard, and many @#$% stuffs make me stress and depress. I really want to meet a psychologist. But i don´t know where should i go, or call...so i can meet a psychologist.
Can anyone tell me? And do i have to pay if i meet him/her?

If we can read minds...then all of us would be psychos..err psychologists..
unfortunately..you need to go to terveyskeskus if you are in FInland ( nearest one can be found depending on where you stay and is tied in with the Kunta/Area)
and they ll determine if you are cuckoo or cuckoo with a clock!!

If you are registered in the KELA system you can call your local health care center and make an appointment. This should not cost you very much (my guess is max 20 euros). If you are not in the KELA system, you will have to go to a private psychologist/therapist. There are some companies that have private health care services, eg. Mehiläinen. This will cost you more than if you have KELA coverage.
If you are a student, you can go to the student health care and get help for very cheap.

And don't let people make fun of you here for asking for this, it is much more stupid to not feel good and not do anything about it. Just talking to someone who is not part of your every day life and every day problems often makes everything seem easier.

Thanks Interleukin and Ạdias a lot. I don´t care about people who make fun on my questions, because they are too ridiculous, and i slight them.
Because im stress and depress and really need help, and i didn´t know who should i ask, so i had to make a question here. And this forum is created for people share information, not to sneer at each other.

I said the same thing..as going to TervysKeskus...but with a different tone and you think that I was making fun of you!! How sensitive are you!!
if you post things on a forum, then do expect various flavors of answers!! with varying degrees of pun!!
Next time, you are looking for those exotic medical prescriptions, dont start to slight them!!
you are not the only one depressed and stressed..There are millions of them here in Finland and elsewhere with varying degrees of problems...Not to make your problem any lighter..But just to point out that Everyone faces varying degrees of stress and depression here..

since the above person was saying clearly that he/she is stressed or depressed, i think, Raamv -You should have been more considerate, no need to push him to a corner, to a person who is already having a hard time, and came here to get help....
"Life is such, just when u think that from your high horse, you have figured it out...you fall....sooner or later,,,," unfortunately, in this society there is no help from relatives or parents, even grannies are not part of familly.....so it is the kela(government)who is your familly,,,,,and we know how they can take care of 5million people !!

Everyone faces varying degrees of stress and depression here..

If you feel this way maybe you should seek help!! By the number of posts you post on here it seems like it!!

Odon, please remember, there are plenty of people who are depressed and stressed every day.......and Terveyskeskus will be the easiest for this person to get to a psychologist fast and cheap!!
