Junior (Java) Software Engineer....< 1 year of experience (if we consider my University projects, Master Thesis, etc...we reach 1 or more year)...What is the average salary in Helsinki for this type of position?
I did some research, and I arrived to this number: 40K € (gross)/year? Is it too low or high? How much should I subtract to have the net? 40-50%?

My hunch is that your 40K may be bit high (I don't think there is shortage of applicants for most positions right now), but I may be wrong.
