many car insurances include cover for the cost of getting towed to a garage.

If you are on your way... so push your car for a few tens or hundred meters... am I advising a fraud here?

I don´t think they exist here, if its not freezing then its raining so a mobile mechanic would only have comfortable working conditions for the 1 or 2 weeks per year  I may well be wrong but i have never heard of a mobile mechanic here.
It is what it is, make of it what you will.

Call your insurance company and find out if your insurance coverage includes "autopalvelu": This covers towing ( Hinaus) to garage/home, Jump-start (If battery is the problem), fuel ( if no fuel) and minor services to see if the car can start. I guess that this is what Mook is referring to.'
Most auto insurance has thie "Autopalvelu" included but none of them ever explain how to use it or what it is..
