Hietalahti Market

Post by tokyogirl » Wed Jul 29, 2009 10:36 am

hello. Questions from Japan.

My hobby is travel and selling vintage japanese stuff in the woldwide flea market. I were selling around US and etc..
So next time I just decided go to EU on September

Then I have a question about Hietalahti Market.
Does anyone know how can I book a table to sell our stuff in the Hietalahti Market?
I found this address,But this is not so helpful. http://www.hietalahdenkauppahalli.fi/antiques/index.htm
Can I book a table through the internet?
Is there any office or official HP ??

thank you so much :D

There is the torivalvoja you find the number in Helsinki city pages.

The link you had is to the antique shop that is in Hietalahti.

What you want is the kirpputori:

for Hietalahti flea market (and other places)

You have to go to the office in person and show ID when you book the table. There is no internet portal for booking flea market (kirpputori tables).

You cannot book more than a certain number of days each year.

Sounds like you need a street vendor permit or somesuch, but I've never seen them (legally) in Helsinki.
