Looking for Part-time Nanny/babysitter for little girls

Post by njuly » Thu Aug 06, 2009 10:27 pm

Purpose: We seek to employ a part-time nanny to look after a little
three-year-old girl.

Timing: Between 2.30 p.m to 4.30p.m, Monday to Friday

Location: Center of Helsinki, quite close to Stockmann

Introduction: We are looking for a nanny to a happy three-year-old girl
who speaks English.

Duties: The nanny will pick up our daughter from her kindergarten in Ullanlinna, feed her, read books
to her and oversee creative activities at home. The nanny does not need to do any housework except to make sure
that the dining area is cleared away and clean after she eats.

Qualifications: We are looking for a warm caring nanny, who speaks English but will also consider a candidate who speaks only English. Spanish skills, or studying to become a Montessori/preschool teacher (Or has
in the past received such training) are of an advantage. We will require
excellent references.

Salary: Negotiable.

I'm also surprised this thread didn't fill up with posts.

I would've applied gladly, but I have a commitment to a previous employer I really want to respect. And unless I know for sure where I stand with that and it won't go the wrong way, I cannot do anything about new offers..

When would you need the nanny to start?
