In the UK, brisket is usually sold rolled (and tied with string). My mum always pot-roasted it will plenty of root veg, served with hot horseradish sauce. Excellent.
Not sure I have noticed it here, it could be that it just gets minced since Finns seem to prefer minced beef to anything else. OTOH if it isn't rolled, I'm not sure I would notice it on a market stall.
Probably best to ask. A good butcher would probably know what you mean.

There's a very good butcher in our kauppahalli in Turku. They've got pretty well every part of the cow, including juicy beef ribs! If he doesn't have it that day, it'll be ready for pick up the next day.
Wonder if they sell Oxtail here in FInland....as thats one of the most important ingredient in making Vietnamese Pho (Soup) and I know only of this Chinese Garden who makes it ( In the Mall)..

Oxtail is sold at least at Stockmann, Vanha Kauppahalli, Hakaniemen halli, and some Prismas.

... and the elk variety is out there too, but rarely for sale in the supermarkets.
