I'm tempted to get a landline but am not quite sure which operator/connection to choose. The main idea is to make it easier/cheaper for friends and family abroad to call me here in Finland (and call them back). So far I've been mainly using skype, but I'm a bit fed up with the fluctuating quality of the calls when calling landlines (especially with my linux version of skype).
I'm not sure whether an internet-based landline is a good idea, at least one operator admitted that when using the net and the net-based phone at the same time, there can be drops in quality.
Was wondering what landline you use, what your experiences are with different operators and if you can recommend one/some?
As I said, I'm planning to have it mainly for receiving calls as well as calling abroad.
Comments/ideas/recommendations greatly appreciated!

Cheap? more like auf den arsch bezahlen
usually you get the landline from the local landline operator who owns the copper wire (Sonera in the boonies, something like Turun Puhelin in the city) and then you start recieving people wanting to sell you newspapers and asking donations for the dead cat helicopter... and then you choose your overseas operator or start using some magic number like HotCom (which is a net-based operator)...
