Hello everyone,
We are travelling with our baby on some long distance flights on qatar airways and wanted to know what kind of bassinette and services they provide on the plane and qatar airport?
I have been told that some airlines provide very bad bassinettes to babies and i just want to know so as to prepare since once you are already onboard it would be very upsetting if i would find out they only give you a piece of plastic to place your baby in forexample.
Thanks again
Anyone took a baby on qatar airways?

Qatar Airways isn't exactly easyjet, it is a quality airline and they have an up to date fleet which should mean that their bassinettes are good too.
If you really wanted to get your questions answered, email them instead and don't just go on what people say on an internet forum.
Also don't stress so much, flying with a baby isn't as hard as you would first think.
The bassinette will only come in handy if the baby will actually sleep during the flight, if it doesn't sleep then the bassinette is useless.
We took our 6 month old on a trip that went Helsinki-Bangkok-Sydney-Melbourne and then we returned by way of Melbourne-Hong Kong-Helsinki.
Only one flight out of those was difficult and that was because it was during our sons 'day time'. He wasn't tired and didn't want to sleep, sit in one place or anything else that we wanted him to do.
He just wanted to crawl around on the floor and do anything else apart from the things i just mentioned. So he ended up crying for most of the 10 hour flight... That is a nightmare i am still trying to forget.
