I am considering a long term commercial property rental but I realise it is probably more sensible to buy. I am talking about small sized @100m2 of office/production space. I own a flat in Helsinki but I am interested to know about experiences of buying commercial property in Finland. I could narrow it down a couple of questions:
1. From a paperwork point of view is buying commercial as easy as buying private property?
2. From a financial point of view how does it work with the major banks (e.g. Nordea), or are there specialists?
3. How do the fees add up during purchase?
4. What are the "hidden" costs of owning commercial property?
5. What are the disadvantages for foreigners (minimal Finnish skills) in buying commercial property?
6. ..anything else useful... experiences with agents, surveyors etc.?
I am trying to prepare my expectations. Any advice and experience much appreciated:)
