WTF. Have you read any of his posts??? I would hardly call them all "supporting finland".... and way to go on the sweeping generalisations. I am now going back to drinking stella and spilling it on my england shirt, whilst shouting loudly in english to all the ignorant foreigners.micky-in-helsinki wrote:I don't know really but my guess is that "Pursuivant" is an indian, a migrant from a 3rd world country, has the same inferiority complex as raam and co. I don't understand why many Indians think it's their duty to pretend that they are more faithful than other immigrants. May be just a complex. They talk here as they are the real finns. They think any kind of criticism ( even constructive) is forbidden or is a sign of unfaithfulness to their country of refuge. Need to come out of colonialism.
Just my thoughts as a result of personal experience with Indian immigrants and reading their comments here

Re: Desperated searching jobs in Helsinki.
Problem is that Finland dont yet have what you call a "China town" and normally, in other countries, you'd have a vast Chinese network that helps people settle in..
Its almost non-existent here except for a few company based ones..
Your best bet is to contact some city organizations to see if they need help in Chinese translators or language training ( Which they have some already )..
Since you lack those connections, its probably going to be difficult..
and since you are a student, its even more difficult..
Complaining about people who highlight reality here is no going to help you or anyone..
This is precisely why we try to warn people not to land on the shores of Finland before being prepared properly..
It does not mean that we dont want to welcome you, But then be prepared for the reality of Finland in all its splendor!!
Have you tired jobs in any restaurant ? As a waiter/Cook? ( Need your Hygieniaosaamiskortti certificate from Evira.fi => basic Finnish needed) or a cleaner ?
Have you really really read what pursuviant wrote and has written in terms of giving advice ? ( Dont start judging the book by its covers...Start reading into what
he really means when he says something..Might be cryptic..which might mean that you need to go back into the history of these pages to find those clues..
which means that you need to get out of your lazy a$$ more than many times to understand what it really takes to live here )..
Given the conditions here now, Even Very highly educated Finnish/Swedish/All nordic/German/French Speaking business people with 15 yrs of experience needs
to apply for a single position with 1500 others and wait for the "no calls" and start another search..
So easily, you write one post to complain that no one is coming forward to give you work!!!
and when people say that that is almost reality, others start to jive into the conversation accusing us of having complexes when they need to look inside
of how lucky they are and how it is really in the real world for all others who were not soo lucky!!
Even people with jobs are pretty insecure these days with the lay-offs still to come for another couple of years..
SO STOP your complaints...Leave this forum for a while and start entering the streets of Helsinki to knock on the doors..to fulfill your dream of becoming
rich!!
When you do come back..share your experience here so morons like mickies can see what it is like with their complexes to really see what we mean rather than
their dreams!!

Tip ... do what everyone else does and add new posts at the end of the thread... few people are going to scroll back to check your old posts.justin723 wrote:I write down what I want to say here,so people can read it better[ updating every week .... ]
This is not Malaysia. Whether you are a hard worker or not, if there are no job, there are no jobs. This is made abundantly clear to people who ask on here before coming to Finland "will I get a part time job" ... the answer, for the last 5 years has been "in all probability ... no"justin723 wrote:Manys thanks to those who giae suggestions.Finns are very nice people, when I first came here, they helped me a lot. When I studies in Malaysia for British degree,I supported myself by doing part-time jobs.I worked everyday in the evening for 2 month. Then I worked 5 days per week,I still passed all the exams.
Be realistic, there are plenty of local undergraduate masters students of Maths who have gone through the Finnish educational system, know the Finnish curriculum and can tutor kids in their own language. You are unlikely to be able to compete.justin723 wrote:All I really want ,is to get good education which I am receiving it now in Helsinki.I am not shamed that I do not have a lot of money.Because studying cost me a lot of time, that's why I am poor now.But I will be richer when I get a job.If there is any chance that I can teach some Finnish kids[who understand English] , English-speaking kids or Chinese-speaking kinds maths, please do not hesitate to contact me,I got straight A s on math in high school.
Pursuivant is Finnish.justin723 wrote:What I want to say to 'Pursuivant' is,I do come from a 3rd world country--China which is an 'advanced developing country' ,Chinese are all over the world. All most every country has a China town.I think 'Pursuivant' must not be a Finn, not even close.I think your country is outside EU,becasue what you said is a low-level person's words.Where are you from exactly?
Every minute you spend typing that sort of text is a minute you could spend studying or looking for a job. You are wasting your own time typing that sort of reply.justin723 wrote:Laughing at others does not make you richer or in a higher position.Laughing at others only shows your bad personality and low-level minds I guess no one in Finland admires you ,your jobs or something like that, you must feel lonely, and unsecure. You tried to say something bad to others in order to let others admire you and make you in a higher position ,so you can feel fullfilled. You really should go to see a psychotherapist 。 I am not trying to judging you,I am trying to help you.Being nice to others, you will live more happily. So,trying to be nice, and make more friends,so you will not feel lonely in Finland.
I must be living in another Finland then. Are you sure you are in the right country?justin723 wrote:You should learn a lot from Finns in Finland, they are rich ,but they never look down upon others, look ,how happy they are living here!
