...and you have that weird thing where you have to pull over to the right in order to turn left, wait until every one has overtaken you and then cross over two lanes :? Or something like that. I remember being a bit confused, (my godmother lives in Seymour, I visited her, a long time ago though)
Nah, I think you're thinking about what we call a "Hooked Turns" which we do in the city for keeping intersections clear for trams when cars want to turn right (remember, we travel on the other side of the road like the pomms do). You get into the Left Lane approaching an intersection, and then indicating right, you pull over to just near the pedestrian crossing. There you wait until the light changes to Amber and then proceed with your Right Hand Turn. It confuses the crap out of strangers to our town but it does have merit for what it is trying to achieve and I also believe it's a good way to handle Right Turns for Cyclists when riding our Left Hand Side road rules. Much safer.

That's just strange to foreigners who visit Melbourne - it's the general lack of driving capabilities on our roads otherwise that are retarded.

Yep, that's the one (I did forget you drive on The Other Side). Very frightening. Here, there aren't many places where you can turn left over tramlines. I use Sat Nav, or take a bus. Driving in town is a pain, even though it is unbusy by most European standards.

Come from Töölö on Sturenkatu and turn north to Mäkelänkatu - thats tramlines & everybody honking & giving you a finger íf you goof up and the green monsters ramming you on top

Oh and the worse obstacle is on Sturenkatu & Aleksis Kiven katu where the lanes join so if theres a tram coming from behind - its going to ram you as its got the right of way... its a hick-killer route

We have a friend that lives round that area in Helsinki and I have driven there. Not that bad and parking is much easier to deal with than here in Melb. Makes a difference when your local city council aren't out to screw you for every cent you have.

Back to the inheritance, we are unfortunately thinking that the "Uncles" are looking to try and do some dodgy selling off the business and by that we think they are looking to sell the business not as a going concern but as a shell and then use family or friends to buy the business assets and start up again under a new name. They have done this previously when faced with bankruptcy but we have evidence of this in an email sent to us back at the beginning of the year and that now they are keen to sell the business. We have a specialist evaluating the business and given the discrepancy of the value of the estate they have given the tax office and what the tax office and our guy came up with - we could possibly have them pinned with committing a financial crime. They undervalued and signed off on the estate by a value of Euro 150,000

If that is the case and deemed so we understand that we can apply for financial help with legal costs in this matter. We only want what my partner is entitled to but from the outset her Uncles (she inherits her Mother's share as her mother died leaving her as sole benefactor) are determined that she gets nothing yet her Grand Father didn't leave a will. If they try to deny her her share then we want the course of Finnish Justice to come into effect.

Just be prepared that this could take an eternity or more..and if and when it comes through..it could leave you with a bill of cost with a few dollars more..
Just be prepared...so you dont get disappointed..
