Cost of quick visit to the vet

I was thinking of taking my cat to the vet for a quick checkup and maybe to have his ears cleaned properly since they smell. Approximately how much should I expect to pay?

I'm not sure if it makes a difference but this visit would not take place in Helsinki, somewhere near Kouvola instead.

In places like Kouvola, some vets are not very pet/cat friendly, we had very nasty experiences in Kotka. But there is a very good vet clinic in Kouvola, i would take the cat there even if it were more expensive. They have specialised equipment for more complicated treatment if your cat happened to need it in the future (my cat was operated there)

I believe you should expect to pay around e40 for a short consultation or more. Call them if you want more precise price info.

i will move to helsinki in the beginning of 2010. i have one gold himalayan cat. could you pls help me on below issues:

1. have you any information regarding acceptance of cat to finland from non eu country?
2. what is the vet costs for cats for regular controls and inoculation?
3. what is the daily cost for pet pension in helsinki?
4. would it be cost me expensive to have cat in helsinki?
5. is there cat health insurance in finland which meets all regular costs of cat?
