Hello all,
As I am getting closer to our long plane trips with 2 transits (one in stockholm and one in Doha) things are coming to my mind concerning all kinds of things concerning carrying a 6 month old baby.
We are staying overnight in sweden airport then taking the plane to Doha, and wait another few hours there before we fly to our destination.
How and what did you use to carry your baby at airports, did u carry a small folding pram? O r used a sling?
since brining the pram mind not be a good idea as they might not accept us carrying it all the way to Doha but would still like to know how and if anyone out there took that small folding pram.
Anyone flew through Doha with a baby please feel free to give any advice or ideas but also anyone whos travelled with babies please give a hint specially on long flgihts!!
Thanks all!

They normally let you take a fold up buggy through security and then you hand it to the baggage handlers at the gate. Phone the airline to confirm. Personally I would take a baby rucksack.

Hi, we went on a looong trip to South africa. Flew from oulu - Helsinki - heathrow- Joburg - durban..No pram only a sling. It was the best thing we did, but then my son was 2 months on the way out and 3 months on the trip back, so he did not object to being in the sling. BUT if your child is not a sling lover, it can be quite difficult. I did feel like my baby was more protected in a sense being so close to my body, I was just more comfortable having him close!

i've done a few long haul flights with babies, never had a problem taking a pram. I highly reccomend it unless you want to hold the kid for some hours at the airport
it's also a good way to store carry-on bags in the airport

Have a nice day!

I would always take a sling. It is very good in the airports and can also be very helpful in the plane. Mine slept only in the sling ...
Good idea will be to get your baby used to it beforehand - if not yet done.
Usually you can take the stroller right to the door of the plane and get it right when you leave the plane.
Ask for "Delivery at Aircraft".
I would do both. Flexibility is always the best when traveling with children.
