Looks like Kimi is out of F1

Post by sinikettu » Mon Nov 16, 2009 2:54 pm

This news just hit the front page in UK.
Mercedes buy and rename Brawn and opt for an all German team of drivers.
Therefore Button will probably move to McLaren taking Kovalainen´s car.

Could be no seats for Finns next season

Kimi would never get the same money he was getting anyway. Why take the same risks for less money? It's not as if he needs it. Kovalainen has had his share of bad luck but he's also had his chances too and he clearly isn't up to it.

Would be interesting to know if MTV3 have paid up front for the rights for the next couple of seasons...

Someone may not be a happy wild bunny in Pöllölaakso.

My thoughts also we had a discussion in pub tonight.. general opinion was...if Kovalainen is out also zero interest here...Finns will watch pesupalo..
"how many years since no Finns in F1?"
I supposed that when Häkkinen was a starting his F1 career TV was not so interested.
When Keke Rosberg was racing ...daah ...was there TV?

And thank @#$% for that.

Finns will watch pesupalo..
Or maybe some other sport wrapped in an Urho-shaped flag, given a pile of money by a company absolutely, totally, completely unconnected to MTV3.....
