There's got to be all sorts of additional time after the 90. The ref is a bizarre one...

Ireland just scored and Portugal seems to be doing well at half time in that potato field in Bosnia.
Greece won away, let's hope this is the day for the away teams!

I would have so loved to see Domenech finaly having to quit the job, that game was a joke. France was a joke and Ireland showed the will to win.
Here in Finland, I have done everything I can to blend-in with the Finns, I've changed my hair color, wore differnet clothes, got different

Roy Keane tells it how it is

Ireland had 2 good chances to put the game away they didnt take them.

Absofu ckingnailed it! Suddenly Roy of the Rovers goes up ten notches in my book (err.. ladder.. or something).

It's the rub of the green, and the biggest problem is that "green" these days means greenbacks. But the press want drama. Anyone got a picture of that penalty against Georgia he was referring to?

Nice handling of the mobile phone incident, too. I thought for a minute he was going to get all medieval on the guy's ass. :D

ahem...I am not sure but...has the rule regarding hand ball some wording regarding it being "deliberate"?
If so...was it?
Benefit of the doubt as in LBW cricket, I suppose does not apply in soccer.
People do not become more irritable as they grow old - they simply stop making the effort to avoid annoying others.

 Nice link, it's funny he looks a little meek, maybe media shy, but you can see that he'd have been willing to leap over the table and rip the guy's throat out if he let his phone ring for a third time. :D
