Miikka Kiprusoff reported told the Finnish Olympic hockey group that they needed to name him the starting goalie or he would not join the team. What? My guess is that he will be watching the Olympics on TV.
Canadian hockey analysts speculated that he really doesn't want to play (remember the possibly faked injury in 2006?) and this is his way of getting out of consideration for the team. No matter; several very good goalies to pick from for the Finnish team.
