Black Russian caviar is not common, I suppose because of the price. But orange "mäti" from salmon and whitefish are very common. You get those from any supermarket. Or restaurant if they have blinis on the menu. February is usually The Blini Month.

The most delicious orange stuff comes from a little estern Finnish lake fish called "muikku".

I just noticed that K-market in Rauhankatu 9, Kruununhaka, Helsinki sells Finnish (yes Finnish!!!!) caviar and fine sturgeon. For more information check out the producers website:
