Hi!
I have a 4 months old baby and I would like to start doing some exercise, but I will have to take her with me, so I wonder if anybody knows of a gym ,yoga class or equivalent, in english, that we could attend together: D (In Helsinki)
Thank you!

Re: Trying to go to the gym :)
Hi, i was trying the same thing a little while ago...Look up the SATS gym, they offer childcae facilities, im just not sure if they take children under 2 years...Im in Oulu and here they dont, but I actually am pretty sure in Helsinki there is one which does...try it. Otherwise I cant help you sorry! I have been trying to find out things like this too so I can exercise as well..I have started a mom and baby yoga group im sure there will be in Helsinki, maybe ask at your neuvola..they are usualy very helpful!

Hi! At Arbis they have a gym class for babies and parents.
It is probably too late to find a place for the spring now though, as they have strict group size limits, but you can always check.
It is actually a Finland-Swedish "course-center" (or whatever you would call it), but many foreigners take classes there too.
Here is the phone number: 09-310 494 94

Tonia

tyovaenopisto has many courses (which seem to be full but there is a waiting list)
