Kela: Child HomeCare - Have They Changed The Law ???

Post by joy1234 » Fri Jan 29, 2010 9:53 am

My baby is 18 months now and my wife is taking care of him at home.
Earlier my wife got 462.14 (314.28+4.86+143) per month.
It's Basic: 319.14 + supplement 143 as our income is between 1 430 and 3 219.21 as 3 member family.

But we got a mail yesterday saying from 1st of Feb she only gets the Basic 319.14 and no supplement.
Why is that. Have they changed the law ? Our income is still in the same range... nothing increased.
I'll visit Kela, but before that just want to know whether they have changed the law.

I don't think there has been any relevant change in the law. No explanation was given in the KELA letter?

Usually with Kela you have to apply again and again every month-year depending of the matter. So im sure you have to fill a paper and they will pay you what they owe you after some time.
