Re: canal digital
I just want to add that i dont really care yet about the HD quality so i was thinking of taking the 1 euro diggibox.
Re: canal digital
Well, to start, this is a key sentence:
Kaikki paketit ovat 24kk sitovalla sopimuskaudella
(= all the packages have a 24 months binding contract)
You are still interested?

Re: canal digital
well yeah im still interested
. I understood now everything about the dish and the price and the digibox stuff but ihave a another question. If I move away from my apartment to another place. Is the dish moving for free too (I guess not)? Cos we plan to movein a few months. Maybe better to be in the new place...

Re: canal digital
Where in your apartmetn do you plan to put the dish? I know that many people use their sauna as extra storage...

Re: canal digital
well i wont have my own sauna but we will have a balcony. Is that good enough or i have to cut some trees or destroy some buildings)

Re: canal digital
Also i have another question. I have in my possession a diggibox with a card reader. The guy from canal digital told me that it wont work with my diggibox and i have to buy a new one. So why do we sell diggiboxes with card readers trhat does not accept all the cards? is there some different kind of cards?
Might be some stupid questions for you but im kinda lost. In my home country everything is from the cable, normal Tv or canal plus (basically 2 choices one with no card one with card).

Re: canal digital
Be wary about drilling holes to the balcony as it is housing co's... holes + water = mighty forces in freezing temperatures.vincebel wrote:well i wont have my own sauna but we will have a balcony. Is that good enough or i have to cut some trees or destroy some buildings)
There are three standards (and mediums) to receive dvb signal: dvb-t, dvb-c, and dvb-s. Terristial (aka over the air), cabele or satellite. If you have t or s box, it wont work with s signal that is received by dish.vincebel wrote:Also i have another question. I have in my possession a diggibox with a card reader. Re: canal digital
As PlusTV's banner says: "Suomalainen maksu-tv antennikoteihin"... "Finnish pay-tv for antenna households"... so plustv is only(?) available via dvb-t.vincebel wrote:http://www.plustv.fi/site/osta.jsp?loca ... 5=0&ch69=0&

Re: canal digital
so what are my options to have more than 6 channels with the cable? I m not addicted to Tv at all but anyway i spent so many nights after a long day at work then sport cursing on the tv cos there was absolutely nothing interesting. Before there was TV5 (im french speaking). now its gone. Also i heard that the sport channel will be gone next month as well and nelonen sport (which looks great) will be on pay-Tv. (or again maybe i didnt understood well).
Like someone said on another topic i have kids and there is nothing in the morning for kids and some cartoons are too violent i think anyway.

Re: canal digital
Yep, PlusTV only operates in the terrestrial network, so it only applies to those who get their TV signal via a roof antenna (as opposed to satellite dish or cable.)Upphew wrote:As PlusTV's banner says: "Suomalainen maksu-tv antennikoteihin"... If the OP wants to watch premium (pay) channels as a cable subscriber he should contact his local cable company or visit their website.
