There are consumer laws that concern every store, Stockmann included. It depends on when you bought it, does it work or is it broken (manufacturing fault), is it used/worn...

If you bought in a 'brick and mortar' store (not online, mail order etc.) then there is no actual right to return purchased object that is not faulty (and even if it is faulty, the shop has right to have it repaired or replaced instead of giving your money back)

I think Stockmann does allow you to return unused goods (I've only returned something around Christmas time, and some of the companies are more lenient then than otherwise), but that is a store policy, not a legal obligation. For the original poster, visit a store or call to know for sure.

never had any problems, returned loads of stuff.

Only if its used/not sellable again.

I assume you want to return the humidifier you mentioned in this thread. :wink: Shouldn't be a problem if you haven't used it yet, even better if you've not opened the box, and specifically if you explain (in a polite way of course) that they sold you a ultrasonic humidifier as a steam humidifier.
