Hello,

I'm a 27 yo female, childminder with experience.

I'm currently employed by a Finnish family from Espoo to take good care of their children: a 5 months old baby and a 1,8 toddler boy.
However, my services won't be needed (at least not full-time) during the summer (since they'd like to spend the holidays as a family) until again in the fall. So I'm looking for a job for the upcoming summer (June, July, August) as a childminder, babysitter.

I'd prefer working with children from 6 months up to 2-3 years because that's the age group i've been spending the most time with, even before, in my early days in Finland when i was responsible for 2 toddler girls (not simultaneously though).

I also applied to Social Services, so after I receive a positive answer after the exams/interview, I will be able to state that I also have education in the field.

My English is good and I also have a basic command of Finnish: as I understand what children are trying to communicate/their needs, as well as I can have simple sentence-communication with them if I'm required to use Finnish.

They provide child minding services for sick kids..and are always on the lookout for people.
I am not sure if they require a car from you or not..
But you can try to call and see if they need you.

I just sent kodinavux an application and, surprisingly, I was called about 10 mins after I pressed "send". Still amazed. But! They said that unfortunately they can't offer anything because one of Finnish families' requirements is a fluent Finnish.

Well, that was still nice to feel that you haven't sent an application into the.. space.
