nanny or personal assistant in helsinki!

Post by Harriet » Thu Feb 25, 2010 7:13 pm

My name is Harriet, I am 27 and have recently moved to Helsinki with my husband, who is a finnish National. I have a lot of experience of caring for children, both in school and home environment. I have worked with children for several years now in various roles, including as a nanny, a sunday school teacher, a home based carer, poetry teacher, babysitter, house mother, specialist school activity worker and caring for the many children in my own family. I have also worked with the mentally ill and handicapped people in my community. I have a second class degree university diploma, in social work and social administration. I would like to be a social worker but would first like to build my childcare experience and learn Finnish.

I am happy to care for children and adults of all ages and I would like to meet a nice family or person with whom I can form a good, professional relationship. I like to keep busy and am easygoing, friendly and positive. I am happy to come to your home for an interview and to meet your family. I do not drive and am just beginning to learn basic Finnish. I like pets and am happy to do household chores and errands. I have worked for an English organisation for children in Uganda and you could speak with them (the directors) if you would like another perspective on me as a person and how I am with children.

Warm Regards,

Harriet
