There's an English-language Environmental Engineering program at TAMK, but you actually have to want to study environmental engineering, because they have hundreds apply each year and only a few get in. It's a really good program. There are a couple of other English-language programs, but I don't know what they are. Something about media arts maybe.

There is only one place in Finland where you can enrol to take the IELTS exam and that's http://www.finnbrit.fi - the test dates get booked up several weeks in advance so plan well ahead. All the info you need is on that website, or email them if you have any questions.
That school can also arrange IELTS prep courses for you including, I belive, on-line courses for the speaking and writing modules.
You can also find free downloadable preparation materials on http://www.ielts.org
And http://www.akateeminen.fi sells a range of books aimed at students preparing for IELTS.
You can probably find municipal evening classes in general English on www.tampere.fi - they won't be IELTS specific but they will help you improve your reading, listening and speaking skills. If you are choosing the academic English IELTS exam then you should definitely consider a writing course.
Good luck!

Residence permit is usually given on grouds of: study, work or family ties. Studies mean studies that lead to a degree. You don't get permanent residence permit for studies, but one that lasts as long as is needed for the degree.viniciusnunes wrote:The question is : I would be able to live and have the permanent resident with only english course ??
