Dear All, I am planning to distribute goods in Finland which will come from holland. The goods had already been taxed in holland. I will not be retailing but ONLY wholesaling to stores. Do i have to pay taxes again on that when am wholesaling to the stores in Finland since i have finland residence permit and living here?
2nd Point, Can i lose my residence permit because i dont pay taxes here but to holland in my business when i have family ties to finland?
Thx all.

-depends on the paperwork ie who exactly is selling to whom, how are you invoicing your clients?
-are you a self-employed (toiminimi) sole trader or a limited company?
Retailing versus wholesaling makes absolutely no difference. A sale is a sale. If your business (here in Finland) is over 8500e in a 12 month period then you have to invoice VAT. If you have a business in Holland that is invoicing Finnish wholesalers directly then the VAT threshold is (I think) about 35000 euro (an EU rule).

But I am a bit confused (and I think you are too) about your personal tax liability versus the VAT liability of your company. They are two different things. VAT is payable on the added value your business is generating and income tax is payable on your personal earnings. Company tax is due in the country where the company is registered for trading.
Go into the www.intofinland.fi office in Kamppi and ask them for some advice. They speak English (and a few other languages to).
