I've tried looking on the embassies and such, but it's really gotten me confused and I have no idea where to start. What paperwork do I have to fill out, I basically have no idea where to start. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

This is really the only link I was able to find. The last thing on the list requires documentation of the status of my fiance in the US, but she doesn't have a visa or green card or anything of the sort. Does she need one?

Based on the link you had above, problem is not getting married, but having the marriage later registered in Finland too(?) There is a phone number on top of the page, perhaps you should call and ask. Only thing I know is that my marriage papers were submitted in another Finnish embassy in another country not more than two years ago, and I did not have any other status than just "tourist" there.

We wanted to do the same thing and found that it is about a thousand times easier to marry in Finllnad. We had a simple magistrate wedding and then the big family religious wedding later in the US. It is much more difficult to to bring a fiancee to the US than a spouse. You should consider it.

Are you guys planning to get married and then she stay there? Or do you just want to get married there and live here?
I married my wife in the US and then we just had to get some special paper from the state where we got married, show that to the maistraatti here and it was all good. I didn't even go with her to register the marriage here, the paperwork was good enough. But we were and are living here so we have had no need yet to fill out any paper work to get her permission to live in the US.
