Hi! Does anyone know of any clubs (football, swimming, etc) that will accept a 3 year old? Ideally in Espoo or Kirkkonummi....
Thanks for your help!

Skating schools accept toddlers, I attach the link above to EVT in Myyrmäki, but I am sure that your local clubs also cover this. Is this the sort of thing you are talking about? and is it a boy or girl?

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine.

Thanks! Skating is a good option as I think he will play hockey when old enough. I was actually mostly looking for a soccer club. I know very little about it but he seems to have a lot of skills and loves to play so I thought it might be good to get him into some sort of structured learn/play group. Not in a huge hurry as he is so young and I certainly dont want to take the fun out of it for him
Just thought it might be nice for him once or twice a week...

If he wants to play ice hockey then he is probably about the right age to start. When we arrived in Finland my youngest son was 6 and he really struggled to get into Jäähonka in Espoo - they said he was too old. As he had already skated in Hungary they let him in on a trial basis and he was allowed to join the team.
There are a ton of football clubs for small kids in Espoo and Kirkkonummi (and all over Finland). In Espoo there is Honka, EPS, HooGee and more. I can't remember the names of the Kirkkonummi teams. Each club has dozens of teams of different ages. I suggest you ask your neighbours and or other parents at päiväkoti for inside info: Some of the coaches are really FAB and some are really awful. You need to find a team that trains near where you live otherwise you will spend all your evenings and weekends in your car.
BTW: team sports and fun are mutually exclusive in Finland (OK, I'm exaggerating again) - training is quite serious (usually more than once a week) and expensive.
