i went quite often to the dr when i was pregnant (naistenklinikka plus neuvola), but i was a high risk pregnancy. if she is the same, it could be possible that she is going to the dr often.
Sara wrote:Im pregnant now. You go to neuvola every 4 weeks to see the nurse, towards the end you go more often. You're given a little neuvola card where the nurse records how the pregnancy is doing, weight, blood pressure etc you keep this card. A ultra sound scan at 12 and 20 weeks so they can see how the baby is developing.

You dont get any official papers to say youre pregnant until about the 5th month. This is so you can arrange maternity leave, get kela maternity benefits and apply for the box of baby clothes.

I just wonder because it seems strange for a woman that wanted to be pregnant, to care so little for the health of her baby.

If she is pregnant and drinking/smoking so much her nurse needs to know because it can affect the baby.

She sounds a little unstable with her emotions so for now you need to make sure you have somewhere to go and food to eat.
