The other team will most likely react too and the ref will be forced to distribute the yellows to both teams in order to appear fair, even though it's mostly one side doing the rough play.
Probably. Just like some players die when opponent goes to their skin. With these kinds of camera coverages, why not make use of them and give harsh penalties for divers? Few missed matches after dive should be enough to practice how to stay up.

edit. not saying that players shouldn't be diving to the turf, if 80kg of defender comes feet first, but if it didn't hit, why are they rolling in such a pain or holding wrong leg?

edit2. and not with just WC games... people have camcorders and cameraphones with video, if they give the recording to good use, why not use them as evidence to get rid of acting stars?

I've always thought they should just let the physio on the pitch and allow the game to continue like in rugby. If they have to been 'seen to' by a physio then it's going to take time and their team will be down to ten men until 'fixed'. Managers will then tell their players to stop acting injured.
Obviously this won't stop divers and cheats who try to get players sent off/win a free kick but will stop people screaming out in agony like Robben or half the Spanish team.
