Where is the best burger in Southern Finland?

I crave for a burger.

A greasy, tasty, fatbomb and oozing with calories.

It does not matter if it's a slider or a tummyhurter, I just want anything else than Hesburger, Scanburger, McD and thelike.

Any burger joints hidden somewhere you peeps can recommend?

Morrison's is good, Memphis do burgers and the Elmobaari Hall of Fame burger burger goes down a treat when the football's on.

The best ones we had were in Mariehamn (Ahvenenmaa)

They were huge! Can't remember the name of the place but it was listed in all the guidebooks.

Best ever burgers I've eaten I made myself. Perfect amount of toppings, sauces and cheese.
Really, it takes 5 mins to make the patties with whatever you want in there, toast some sugar-hamburger buns if you like them (I prefer bake-at-home rolls) and create a masterpiece of flavour.

Not exactly Southern Finland... but if you get to Tampere I'd recommend SoHo if you are looking for a good hambuger. I think its called the "Tracadero" or something like that.. Its one of the best burgers I've ever had (yes, including those in the US).

Chicos and Amarillos do burgers too, but I'm not all that impressed.

If you want another than your regular chains theres the "Southern Fried Chicken" in Forum, a few "Rolls" around even in Helsinki (in Konala CM at least) and the revitalized "Snacky" chain... Rolls does pretty decent burgers and the SFC are fresh..

You might want to try out http://www.snacky.fi , they're a chain but better than McDonalds, Hesburger etc., also The Chili's restaurant (not the multinational chain) in Espoo http://eat.fi/espoo/chilis . I've heard praise about the burgers in Sports Academy, but haven't had one myself. Personally I am not impressed by Morrison's, more specifically the taste of their burgers, plain and middle-of-the road in my book.

Edit: Just having returned from having the best burger I've yet eaten in Helsinki, an addition to the earlier suggestions; Ravintolalaiva Wäiski http://www.waiski.com/ The burgers are great and reasonably priced (for their size and quality) at 10-14 euros, including proper self-made fries. À la carte during evenings is open until mid August for the summer, but burgers should be available during lunch time as well (open all year round).
