Hi all,
Just trying to get a handle on the issue - in what professions female Spanish (EU/LatinAmericans) speakers have managed to find employment in Finland (with/without Finnish requirements).
All responses will be inspirational... I still believe

Thanks.
I am not a number!
Spanish speakers - in what professions

We have a Spanish lady working in our project department doing AutoCAD drawings and designing electrical systems.
Inspired yet?

It depends on your qualifications. If you have a degree and some desired skills and experience then any of the international companies might be interested. Otherwise if you have to do a more menial job you might end in a kitchen or cleaning since in most cases fluent finnish is required when you have contact with finnish customers. Anyways start or keep on studying finnish

My neighbour is a native Spanish-speaker. He works as a consulting engineer in an international company. But he also speaks Finnish.
