SAP

Post by kashyaps » Mon Jul 26, 2010 11:19 pm

Hello,

I'm currently working as software engineer mainly working for mobile phone based projects. Now I'm thinking of moving from this domain to SAP.
I have heard that there are good jobs available for SAP consultants here in Finland.
I want to first go through some trainings or some degree which will help me to understand and gain some knowledge in SAP.
I donot want to do this in a hurry, will want to gain good knowledge in SAP before shifting may be a year or so.
So, if you can point me through some direction on where to start to achieve this?
Any persons with similar experience would be great help and guidance?

thank u in adv..

kash

Helia teaches some SAP courses. Some are in English.

Hi Kash,

Best advice I can give is to join a company that is going through an SAP implementation. That way you will experience the basics, and find your own preferred module, (as there are so many to choose from). On site / hands on is always the best way. No SAP course will teach what you need to get your foot on the ladder, so try get involved from the beginning - see how all the modules integrate etc...
