Having pets in Finland

Hello, I'm Anna, a new member here, and I'm planning to go study in Finland. I love pets and really want to have a dog or cat. Are there any place for me to adopt or buy one?

Pets are available, but will you be living in a house, an apartment or a room where you will be allowed to have a pet?
