I wonder if this should be considered more research or PR exercise by Manpower. Anyway, according to their data it was easier to find skilled workers in Europe this year than previous year and the trend has been the same some years now. Finland is not the slide, but based on our closest neighbours it is easier here than in most of the Europe. Easiest of all it is in Ireland, which is of course another way stating "economy is truly f'****d up here, and the unemployment situation shows it"

And to be honest, I find the opening sentence "Workers with specialized skills like electricians, carpenters and welders are in critically short supply in many large economies..." bit hard to re-conciliate with the news about construction sector in many of those countries...
